hot tea & a runny nose

it's irritating that i'm sick. i have a runny&blocked nose and a stomach that's been doing gymnastics. At least the stomach has decided to keep the food i feed it.

tea party cafe-ed with xb, jon&weishan, and tim&sarah the other day. i missed that place! had the deeeleeecious beef aglio but my stomach didnt appreciate it. so it was 'rejected' when i got home. tabasco sauce and all. yuck.

since comming back from china, i've missed...

1. seeing, working with, bitching with, eating with and late night 'meetings' with ctv everyday
2. the cool weather
3. zhangbo & lixiao
4. bitching about people in english in front of them without them having a clue
5. understanding when people talk about you in chinese but they think you dont

*wah i tell you it's damn shiok when the locals say things like 'oh they're from singapore, they dont understand chinese so lets charge them a higher price and rip them off', and then you smile at them and say in perfect chinese 'hello, i want to buy this. how much is it? can you charge lower?' then you immediately see the look on their face. like 'shit, ummmm... ' shiok or what. :D

but Singapore is.... home. Singapore is love. XB, Saph, Geor, Wanyi, LiJun, Chinaman, Arnold and a million other ppl. :)



i realised today, that editing it like my medicine and fcp is like my doctor. coz i wasn't feeling too well today and i just editeditedit. and i forget all abt it. :p i go to a land where i must get the perfect timing, the perfect duration of each clip, the perfect transition, optimum audio level, the best take/angle and everything.

nyeh. i swear i've used half the box of tissues alrdy. goodnight.

i'm home

so after 15 days in China, i'm home. damn, i've not missed Singapore so much ever.

the boyfriend was so sweet. he surprised me at the airport. picked me up at bloody 525am lah! he stayed overnight at the airport just to make sure he didnt oversleep. such a sweetheart. <3

China was... an experience.

Filming in Shaoxing was quite a headache. it rained almost everyday. and having to film, carry equipment, set up and think in the cold rain is not fun. not to mention keeping our equipment n talents dry. nehneh.

I ATE SMELLY TOUFU. ohmytian. its the grossest gross shit in the world. it smells like a heap of dung and tastes like it. DAMN DISGUSTING. we managed to get the opportunity to film the process of making smelly toufu at a factory. it was traumatising to say the least.

sigh. alot of shit happened on the trip. it's quite screwed up. whatever lah.

and leaving China was harder than i ever expected it to be. who knew.



anyway. editing starts tomorrow. 9 to 5. oh, and i managed to get all the 3 electives that i wanted! :)

the past week has been tiring. school everyday, rehearsals after rehearsals, planning manpower and organising things. i just needed an escape. to run away from it all. too much. too much.
