one more assignment left to do.

pack. move. store. and then it's home, sweet home!

gosh, i can't wait to see bee again. to eat lormaikai. to sleep in my bed. to have a family dinner. to sit at starbucks and people watch... etc. haha! 10 days! :D

and i had a lot to think about today. shall ruminate, and maybe blog about it another day.

it's been 1 year. too fast.

cliched as it sounds, it seems like it was just yesterday that i was sitting with you, watching tv in comfortable silence.

sometimes i dont even know how i should feel.

i still miss you, still think about you. and i feel slightly guilty sometimes that the feeling has faded.

but your memory and love will never. the laughter you brought into my life, will forever be a part of me. as will the lessons.

i had mangoes today, and i remembered you. it was unexpected and bittersweet.

week 14

RAR! it's down to the last week. the most intense of all.

4 assignments due. 2 of which are 40% each for different units. it's make it or break it.

i just spent the entire day in the library. that's a first. got another million papercuts. spent another 20++ bucks on printing.

it's my last creative ad design unit. and then i will never have to see blair again. :D such joy! but i really love ad design, and the 7 of us.. will be 6. :c makes me sad.

and i'm seriously considering taking up copywriting and art direction. but the thought of having blair as a tutor again, makes me want to beat something up. (preferably him) or puke. (also preferably on him). and i wanna do ad studio. :)

shit, i should just change my major to ad design. nyeh.. too late.



oh, i think i'm going to hong kong in nov! and london in dec! wheeeeee! holidays, i can't wait for you!

God help me;

i've just realised the enormity of the shit i've landed myself into. the sheer depth makes me want to just stop trying and sink to the stinky, black bottom.

now i'm just praying that the shoot will go well tomorrow.

2 massive journals, 1 music video, 1 script, 2 advertising briefs, and 1 presentation visual.

3 more weeks.

it's about one more month till i get to go home! :)

time to decide the date. still in a slight dilemma, but i think i'll choose to go back a little later this time around. stuff i want to settle, and i guess i can use that time to explore and wander around, and use up the t-balanced film that's been rotting in my camera since last sem. hurhur

so yup, been catching up on some movie-watching. glad to say that i've watched some 36 films in the last 11 weeks that i've been back in perth. haha, pretty awesome.

just caught 'atanarjuat: the fast runner' today. it's really, really, really good. everything shot on one cheap (relatively) camera but the entire film is so engrossing and it's made me completely intrigued about the inuit and their way of life. now, i want to go up to northern canada to where the dancing lights are and live in an igloo. :D

but yeah, as part of the syllabus to make us think about race, nation and community in cinema, i think this is such an apt film. just the landscape alone is so different, it feels like you're on another planet. Yet the issues dealt with are so common throughout the human race.

yeh, i would recommend it to anyone. go watch it!

and on a completely different note, i made chicken curry today! and i had it with prata! super shiok, i tell you! it was as good as the real stuff. and almost as good as my grandma's. haha. i have some leftover and i'm looking forward to dinner tonight! :D

and i've been feeling way too grown up and adult lately. having to deal with worries about housing, banking and my future in general. :\ and i cant believe i'll be 22 soon. can't even begin to imagine saying 'i'm 22 years old'.
