Haven't
School's starting in less than 12 hrs and I realise that I haven't had a real holiday in a long time. Haven't gone to the beach. Haven't gone out with my sec sch friends. Haven't shopped till I dropped. Haven't vegged out in front of the TV. Haven't gone out at 1am for supper. Haven't bugged Chinaman to watch movies with me. Haven't gone tanning with Wanyi and Lijun.
Haven't. Haven't. Haven't.
So much to do, so little time. R. Yee says that in order to be a good journalist, we all need to reflect more. (bah!) So, in looking back... this has been the busiest year of my entire life. Seriously. I've never had so many things crammed into the space of 365 days. So much so that it feels like forever since New York, but it has only been about a week.
It's warped and kind of weird because I can hardly believe that this is me. That this is what I'm doing now. It's funny but sometimes I can't believe that I'm so lucky. Yeah, I do need to count my blessings.
On a totally different note altogether:
Editing is becoming a pain in the ass. No shit. It's taking up my time and heck, I can't even find good links so that the different footage won't seem as though they were just 'cut and pasted' into the timeline. RAH! Now all I have are the digitised footage that I've decided to use. The headache is putting it all together.
Please pray for my sanity. And my hair, so that I won't pull them all out.
